Ready to hunt

Hunting season open today (doe.) too much stuff to do for anything but practice. Tomorrow I hope to get some woods time.

Touch high, but good enough for a deer's vital zone. For squirrels, I can usually get closer, although if they pop their heads up at the right time, this still might work. (Shots at 22 yds.)

Fartleks

Kinda cool to look at Fartleks on a heart rate monitor compared to speed. Slowly making a comeback, I can now go for 5-7 mile runs under a 10 minute pace. Not back to where I was a couple of years ago, but still encouraging.

Too much stuff

"You buy furniture. You tell yourself, this is the last sofa I will
ever need in my life. Buy the sofa, then for a couple years you're
satisfied that no matter what goes wrong, at least you've got your
sofa issue handled. Then the right set of dishes. Then the perfect
bed. The drapes. The rug. Then you're trapped in your lovely nest, and
the things you used to own, now they own you."
